Smackie, you noted a more limited palette of colors to choose from. The mod conTROLL panel has a link to a color chart that should help you when picking a color scheme. This system duplicated the older system's options for making changes and I think it aded 1 or 2 more as it was one oarea that was looked at during the systems development

Problems with updating your profile? Being notified of "banned words"
During development we opted to have the ability to ban the use of vulgarity in user IDs being a public system we felt that when cross posting in other forums that the users ID should be some what "clean"
This is what those of you that get this error are bumping up against. We are working on a solution so that your current IDs can be used without issue but still remain a little mroe restrictive on new IDs.

Issue when a moderator adds a user to become a moderator they do not get the title. Developer has been notified and I would suspect a fix by mid week.

Thanks Steven.
Many of you are finding that loading avatars is a completely different ballgame from the old forum. Here's what to do:
If the url is not already hosted on your computer, right click on the image and hit "Save picture as." A menu of your directories will appear, and you will be asked to "save" it. So save it.
Go into your profile. To the left of the avatar window is some text, including a link for "Custom avatars." Click on it. A window will appear. Click on the "browse" button. A menu including the avatar you just loaded should appear. Click on your avatar and "open" it. The addy should appear in the window next to the "browse" button. Click "Upload." Go back to your profile, and click on the avatar window menu button. Click on "Custom" in the drop-down menu, then go to the bottom of the page and click "update profile." Your avatar should then be loaded.

He said conTROLL...
uh huh huh huh.
Oh and hey Concorde, good job on firing that jackass 1QuickSI, he obviously knew nothing about running a message board but as soon as you hired this new guy named Steven to be an administrator, he gave us a new board and everything!!!
